Brandon and Babea’s Wedding at The Ledges of St George in St. George, UT this past May was one I won’t soon forget. This Monday evening wedding was one that I had been looking forward to for YEARS. Seriously. The venue was gorgeous and I had been wanting to shoot there for as long as I could remember. A family member contacted me online and I messaged the bride immediately to tell her I wanted to photograph her and Brandon’s wedding – if they would have me!
Brandon and Babea define fun-loving, adventurous, outdoorsy couples in love and this is everything I hope for when I photograph couples. I wish for laughter, and joy, and down-to-earth brides with big hearts for the people in their lives. This is Brandon and Babea to a T!
The ceremony overlooked the lake and their rustic and personal touches left so many people in tears. They read their own vows and had a special prayer to bless their marriage and family. The weather was a perfect 76 degrees with no humidity due to a storm that came through right before the ceremony – which was such a treat because it provided some amazing light for pictures!
After the ceremony we took family and wedding party photos and then it was time for the bride and groom portraits!! We wrapped up with some portraits on the property and then went to the gorgeous open air deck to get the party started!! The wedding party had the best entrances I’ve ever seen and the dance floor was hopping all night.
All in all, it was truly a perfect day and the threat of rain held off for the remainder of the evening. Together, Brandon and Babea completely compliment one another. He is always smiling (as is Babea) and loves her deeply, and quietly. They are, indeed, a perfect match, and I am just bursting with joy that I get to document their love.
Babea and Brandon, no one deserves this perfect day more than the two of you. I am so beyond happy that I got to be there to witness the beginning of your next big adventure. Thank you a million times over for being so incredi – ble. I hope this new adventure together gets better each and every day. Your joy is contagious and I absolutely loved being surrounded by it on your wedding day. Cheers to many more decades of love and happiness!
